LATPSI: GLOBAL CAREER SERVICE - series of conferences

Latpsi: Global Services presents a new series of conferences on psychological and business oriented themes. At the beginning of this project, our conferences shall be available in the countries where we have physical presence: Mexico and France.

The conferencies shall have a duration of approximately 45 minutes after which free discussion follows.

ON THE THEMES

More themes shall be added to the list in the future. The themes we have chosen for this spring period are:

1. Self-esteem and personal growth

Everybody talks about self-esteem. But what is it, really? Is it one thing or plenty of things? In addition to this introduction we shall discuss ways to support our children and ourselves, too, in developing a good self-esteem which helps our personal growth as human beings to the benefit of our families and communities in general.

2. Adult career change

Adult career change is becoming more and more common but still remains a challenge. During this event we discuss factors that makes us to postpone making our professional dreams reality and why is it never too late to change career. We introduce participants into the theme of professional career planning plus work on a step-by-step plan to make the big move reality.

3. Creativity in organizations

Creativity can be the source of power for a company or any sort of an organization. Or it can become the ruin. What makes an organization to benefit from creatity? How to impower its use? What makes creativity a difficult thing? These and other aspects of creativity shall be discussed during this conference aimed at individuals and managers.

4. Living abroad: personal and professional implications

Tropical beach and sun shine. Easy living and rent money flowing in from the old home country. Or something completely else? Living abroad is many times a different thing than our dreams. However, despite the challenges that it presents to us, living abroad can be a great opportunity to enrich our life and make it a fantastic adventure, both personally and profesionally.

5. Multicultural teams

Globalizations has changed the ways we work and with whom we work. During this conference we discuss what kind of practical implications does working in a multicultural team have. In addition, we analyze real-life situations from different walks of life, let it be from sports, arts, business and so on. This conference is a profound look on multicultural teams which explains why multicultural teams keep on winning again and again.
